The former residential farmhouse on Brandsweg was destroyed after a fire. The historical context called for restoration of the rural appearance to contemporary standards. The resident’s wish was a sustainable life-proof home with all support functions on the first floor.
The wooden farmhouse in Hulshorst, constructed by Van Panhuis Bouw, was completed at the end of 2022. Thanks to site manager Aalt and carpenter Jeroen, a beautiful building was created. As is the case with many private projects, the building was not yet fully finished. After seven months of hard work, the residents now have a lovely home.
